Materials:

14-inch straw wreath
45-inch coordinating red and green cotton mini prints, five, 1/3 yard each
Polyester fiberfill
Fern pins, 100
1 3/8-inch red paper ribbon, 3 yards (for bow)
Miscellaneous items: scissors; ruler; wirecutters


Instructions:

1. Cut fabrics into 4-inch squares.

2. To make each puffball, place a fabric square right side down on work surface. Following the illustration below, place golfball-size fiberfill in center of square. Working from right to wrong side of fabric, insert fern pin in corners and draw together to form ball. Insert pin into wreath.

3. Cut wire in half. Use one piece to wire ribbon into a multi-loop bow with streamers and attach to center bottom. Bend remaining wire into a double loop hanger and attach to back center top.
